The FP baseball season came to an end Saturday in the State Regional
Championship game.   FP lost to O'Dea, 8-6 after having earlier beaten
Shorecrest, 3-1.   O'Dea moves on to play on Friday at Safeco Field.  FP
finishes tied for 5th in state for the 3rd straight year.   I was extremely
proud of our baseball team, as they played their hearts out for fourteen
innings.   Those that saw it would agree that those were two of the best
baseball games in school history.   We will miss our four seniors (Brooks
Roy, Andrew Jacobsen, Robert Zink, and Albert Franco) and their never
say die attitude.

Congrats to Andrew Jacobsen and Brooks Roy who have been selected
to the All-State Feeder Team on June 1st at Auburn Mountainview H.S..
Congrats also to Andrew who was selected to the SPSL 1st team outfield.
Brooks Roy (pitcher) , Deven Kaaiwela (utility), and Jonny Deck (1st
Base) were
selected to the SPSL 2nd team.   Dempsey Wheelock, Mickey Lyons, and
Antonio Turner were Honorable Mention All-SPSL.
